The "equalized assessed value" of all real estate in Woodridge surpassed $1,000,000,000 this year. That enabled the Village to reduce the property tax "rate" for the 21st year in a row.

UPDATE: The four bulbs I replaced will use only 201,480 watts of power per year (instead of 839,500 watts) and at 9 cents per kWh, that saves $57.42 per year.
